Directions

  1. Pour chicken broth at the bottom of your pressure cooker. Place the rack trivet into your pressure cooker.
  2. Remove the packaging from your spiral cut, sliced ham. First, make sure that the ham fits into your pressure cooker. If it’s too big, cut off enough to make it fit and save the excess for later.
  3. Wrap the ham in aluminum foil, leaving the top portion open.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together Holland House® Sherry Cooking Wine, melted butter, honey, brown sugar, and ground black pepper and pour on top of the ham.
  5. Close up the foil at the top, close the lid and cook on manual for about 20 minutes, or 2 min/lb for sliced ham; 3 min/lb for unsliced ham plus 10 minutes.
  6. Allow the pressure to release naturally before opening.
  7. Once the ham is ready, pour the glaze into the bottom of the pressure cooker and set the ham to the side to rest.
  8. Mix water and cornstarch together and add to the glaze. Stir until combined.
  9. Turn your pressure cooker on sauté and allow it to sauté for 15-20 minutes or to your desired texture.
  10. Meanwhile, slice your ham and place it on a platter.
  11. Pour the finished glaze over the ham or serve in a gravy dish.
